Who am i
Hi, I’m Noemi.
I was born to an Italian mother and a German father, and grew up in Brussels, moving between cultures and languages. I speak German, Italian, French, and English, and I’ve always been curious about how culture, place, and memory shape what we believe, feel, and create.
I’m currently studying at the Design Academy Eindhoven, and I’m interested in how stories, materials, and systems connect.
My work often begins from a sense of wonder, the wish to tell stories differently, to draw attention to what’s overlooked, to give depth to the ordinary and the minute. Nature, architecture, and both the details and larger events of history continually shape my perspective. I’m interested in how design can shift systems, give presence to what’s been silenced, and create resonance that lasts.
For me, art is a way to make sense of what surrounds us, to uncover what lies beneath the surface, and to turn reflection into something you can see and feel.
